Using VBA

I’m using the 5.1.6 version. Is it possible to make queries about users and their permissions with VB? I mean, by using the Business Objects Designer Library, I can open a Universe, and get to know the name of the tables, joins, and so on. I’d like to do something like that, with the options I have in the Supervisor… but I haven’t found a reference to add to my project.

Does the Supervisor come without an object model?

Is there any other version that comes with it ?

No, it does not. What I suggest is that you write your own universe (or check out some of them available on the web, including here on BOB) against the repository tables. Once you have that universe built, then you can do the reporting that you need with BusinessObjects itself.
