Hello !
I would like to create SQL queries running into the business objects universe database. The goal is to make links between reports and universe objects, in order to be able to get a list of all te reports using a specific object.
Is it possible ?
Thank you very much, and well,
have a nice Christmas time !

Hi,
please have a look into these parts of BOB download section:

' This macro does not by design to anything to the reports that it reads. It does write
' to a CSV file that will be - by default - located in the "UserDocs" folder as specified by
' a user preference setting. The data provider for the document must point to this file. As of
' this revision, the user must do this step manually.

The ManagerO universe is used to report against the repository tables. Note that this version is for an Oracle-based repository. The repository documentation is a series of HTML files, listing and describing each of the repository tables. These files are the same files distributed in the freeware directory of the version 5 installation disk(s).

Hello Marek !
it was almost perfect !
thanks to the macro, i have created a new table which can be used to link
the document tables to the universe tables into the repository.
It is now possible to find a list of reports using a precise database column, and so to do some impact analysis on database changes !
thank you for the links !
