How would I go about getting a listing of all of my users and what groups they belong in? This would not be just active users, but all users who are set up in the system.

This is done using the Security Viewer. It’s a seperate client application that can be downloaded from Tech Support (Do a search and you’ll find it). It’s a java application, so make sure you follow the set-up document precisely.

There is a limit of 1000 users using the security viewer. Have a look also on BOBdownload’s.

The 1000 value limit can be changed with a registry setting on the server.
There is a registry key linked to size of queries on the infostore table in the system database. The max size is set at 1000, this is also why creating queries in the Query Builder will max out at 1000. The registry key name is ‘InfoStoreDefaultTopNValue’, you should find it under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Business Objects -> Suite 11.5 -> CMS -> Instances -> . Changing this value will also decrease performance for these client tools.
