Hopefully a simple question for the experts; how do I force all the column headers to appear in my cross tab - even if they’re empty or show zero value.
I’ve ticked show columns with empty measure values in the properties.
Quick reponse will be very much appreciated!!

let me know this is worked or not.

Hi Pradeep,
I’ve selected all of these, but no joy.

Hi Jansee,
Does your report has any blocks or report level filters?

Yes it does. But I have headers with null values which appear, yet a couple in particular don’t…?

Hi Jansee,
Apply a condition to the headers like
=If(IsNull([dimension]);“Some Defalut Text”;"[dimension]")
Try this.

Sadly that doesn’t work either.
When I try to sort the columns, it’s there in the custom sort window but doesn’t appear in the report??
Is there a way of forcing all to come in regardless of whats on the other axis of the cross tab?

Hi,
You are probably after this entry in the Reporter’s FAQ:
How can I include data for all months in a crosstab, even if a particular month has no data?
One way to do this is to create a second data provider using only the months. Then link (or “merge”) the second data provider (query) with the first data provider. Use the month column from the second data provider in the cross tab. This should bring in all months even if there were no data for that month. However this technique does not work if you have sections in your report.

Thanks for the help guys. Seems to be a quirk in the system.
I tried rebuilding the cross tab in the same report and it seemed to work ok second time.
