Upgrading from BO 4.5 to BO XI R2

Hi ,

I know that BO 4.5 is very old version but can i get any documentation or information for upgrading from BO 4.5 to BO Xi R2 or 3.1.

Any help is apreciated !!!

According to the XI3 Migration guide, version 5 is the oldest version that can be migrated, so you would need to upgrade to 5 or 6 first. See this document.

using import wizard you can migrate data (folders,usera,report…) from older versions to the new one.

Not from BO 4.x.

No clue, but UNV might still open in XI 3.x or SAP BI BusObjects 4.0 using Universe Designer. For Reporpts you might have to re-create them from scratch.

How large is your deployment in number of univeres and reports?
And why not go with SAP BI BusObjects 4.0 SP4, which is the current version?
