Has anyone done this?
BO is offering Services for Business Object 6.5 Migration. This is something new in BO. Does this mean not just any ordinary BO administrator can do the migration?

You don’t need migration services for 6.1b to 6.5. Did you do it for 5.1.x to 6.1b? Even that really wasn’t very difficult.

Do I have to do a repository migration or is this a direct update/upgrade?

The repository has changed with v6.5 compared to v.6.1 - see this thread.
Supervisor & Designer now automatically upgrade in v.6.5 - see this thread.
