hi,
recently my universe repository which is in oracle server got corrupted and now i am unable to login to any of my B.O modules. Is there any way
to point my universe to another repository or i need to re-install everything from scratch?
please help me. it has become a big show stopper for me.

Does your Oracle DBA have a backup of the repository so it could be restored? That’s the normal procedure when something goes bad on the DB side.

No, my oracle DB has not back up. is there any way that i can create another repository and point my universe to the new one?

Are you trying to open the .unv file and getting “You are not authorized…”? If so, there is a topic here that may help.

thats not the case. im trying to login through universe designer. First i want to confirm whether is it possible to point the existing universe to a new repository? if so how?
