I would like to know if there is any template around or if someone can recommend me the best practices and how to do the documentation of the universe.

The Project Plan includes most tasks one would encounter in creating a BO Universe and some canned Full Client / Deski reports.
The Guides Project - Universe Designers contains considerations in setting up the project team and creating the Universe etc.
The Checklist is a list of Best Practises that should be completed / used on every universe before go live.
Any deviances should be listed for future reference / support issues.

(It writes all the tables, joins, contexts, objects, filters, etc’ in excel)

All: thanks for the respone, any other inputs. I won’t be able to use the tool due to limited access. Any other ideas ??

What do you mean by limited access?
You can also print the universe info from the Designer …

I can’t install third part tools on my machine… so what is the other alternative…
