We started getting “Unhandled Exception Errors” on certain PC’s with certain universes starting with version 5.0. We have since tried version 5.01 and 5.02, but still receive these on certain PC’s with certain universes. Curious on if there are any workarounds or any ideas as to the underlying cause(s). Working with tech support on problem, but wanted to see if others are having this problem.

I am in the same boat… I had a little success by deleting my bomain.lsi file, letting BO recreate that…
I saw that 5.02 was to address some of these, but we can’t make that jump without redoing our acceptance testing, so I am out of luck - unless anyone else has some better suggestions

Was there ever anything like resolution to this? we still get these errors on our designers boxes, and it’s a real hassle… sometimes removing the registry entry for BO (user settings) will help, sometimes deleting the lsi / ssi file helps, sometimes it’s the old chicken bones and incense fix… (read, VOODOO).
Any inputs? The error log is always the same ‘UAE, abort or abort.’
