Unhandled Exception Window in BO Full Client

Hi

When i open BO Full Client sometime i get “Unhandled Exception” window.
with some message including below

Unhandled Exception
Code : c000005
Description : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

with “Abort” and “Save” buttons.

I have to close BO Full Client and login again. Sometime it happens
What could be the reason.

KRG, I believe the answer to this is in the Reporter FAQ’s or if you do a search on “unhandled exception” you will find plenty of hits to help you resolve the issue.

Unhandled exceptions are not new in Business Objects. Don’t worry about those much if you are not able to replicate those issues.

I am using BO 5.1.6 and have found that it gives very few Unhandled exceptions error.

So if you are not using BO 5.1.6 or higher then i would recommned to upgrade your BO version

Upgrade your Bo to version 6.1b to resolve the Unhandled Exception errors.

You can still get them in 6.1.b…here is a summary

We get them in 6.1b, but it seems to be less frequent than it was in 5.1.8… although that might just be because there are less users.

On a tangent, the frequency of shark attacks works the same way: Higher population = more people at the beach = more shark food.

Hence, Shark = BO bug :wink:
