unhandled exception c0000005 in BO 6.5

Hi All,

We are getting this errror (unhandled exception c0000005 in BO 6.5)
when we try to refresh the reports in batch scripts on production server.

Previously we used to get rarely,but now this error became frequent.

we haven’t changed any thing in production, so not able to understand what might be the cause of the error.

we are using BO 6.5 on windows NT,Unix servers
and Oracle as backend.

The attached document contains the error message which we got.

have you tried BOB’s search?

There are numerous posts about “unhandled exception c0000005” problem. There is also reporter’s FAQ that discuss this problem.

Please review these posts first.

Hi Marek Chladny,

I went through all the posts here on the forum
but none of the option which are listed are relavant to our situation.
they are all listed for BO 5.x version and we are using 6.5

and also the other production reports from the same universe,using same connection are refreshing properly

we are getting this exception error to only 2 reports ,and other 25 similar reports have no problem while refreshing.

If it is not too much work try to recreate those 2 reports from the scratch. It may happen that the report gets corrupted and the only way out is to recreate it.
