Unable to display all months

hi,

In a cross tab horizantally i have date (formated Mon-yy). vertically row by row calculation …block level filter applied to the block with two conditions .if i select 1 in the filter i am getting the data only for few months where ever i have data . .But i need to display all the months in the block even there is no data. I tried with No filter function (forMon-yy…ie. NoFilter([Mon-yy]) ) and also i tried by taking suparate query for actual date but there is no use…please some one can help me.

keep empty column in a crosstab

Hello, I have a cross tab that looks like this Jan Feb Mar Ferrari 12 20 Porche 08 15 Cadillac 07 32 5 I want to apply a filter, to keep Ferrari only in my cross tab, but i would like to preserv the march column (wich would be left empty or set to 0), like this : Jan Feb Mar Ferrari 12 20 But what i get instead is just a cross tab with two columns only, March is gone. Create 12 columns.

Column 1 name = January
Cell formula

=[Your Dimension]where(monthnumberofyear([Your date object]) = 1)

Then repeat this for all 12 months
This works in my head, I havent actually tried it out.

This is really only necessary if you dont have data in your database for these months. If you are somehow filtering your query that is preventing it from returning dates for every month, consider adding a query that will bring back data for every month for your date dimension, merging it, and then using that to build your crosstab.
