I want to know the various types of measure objects and the difference between them.
Actually,I am confused between Smart measures,Standard measures and delegated measures.

In the universe world there are two types of measures:

  • (standard) measures
  • database-delegated (a.k.a. smart) measures

Database-delegated measures are all the not-fully additive measures, and those must be calculated at the various aggregation levels used within a report. For example: Ratios are not-fully additive: 73% customer satisfaction in the USA and 87% customer satisfaction in Germany yield what kind of customer satisfaction overall? For sure NOT (73% + 87%) / 2 = 80%. The correct result must take into account the weighted average instead.
