Tuning Report Performance

Hi,
How to tune report performance at different stages , like at the database level , at the universe Level and at the report level ,

Can anybody explain separately all 3 levels for Optimizing the Report Performance ,

It’s a kind of important Interview Question I need to prepare

I know at

Database : indexing , materializing the views , Universe : aggregate awareness, Index Awareness
Report: using condition objects made at universe level , else of using filters at report level ,

Is there anything else we can add or is there anything I said was not correct above , i am new to this interview stuff please do let me know in easy words.

Interview Question: Please can you give an example of when you have had a poorly running report?

and what analysis and subsequent actions did you undertake to resolve it?

Also, consider that a poorly running report, in the terms of time, on some implementations may be a “best performer” on others.

The subject can be quite subjective :).
