So now the default is to “Restrict SQL to ‘Select’ only.” You’ll have to go
into Supervisor, for the user’s BusinessObjects properties, to disable this.

We have no problems with the new default of disabling insert or update tables.
That is also how we would like it to be.
BUT, inserting comments for documentation using “/* … comments … */” does not have to be disabled too!

If using “/* … comments …*/” AFTER the word ‘Select’ is acceptable,
why is it considered an error if it is located BEFORE the ‘Select’?

That is the main problem and the fact that version 4.0.5.3 allowed us to write our codes that way,
which is now considered incorrect with version 4.1.4.

Would it be fair to say that Vantive case CS001073468 Bug Number 24094 was not fixed thoroughly?
