When you have multiple tables in a report and you go into drill
mode, Business Objects makes you pick the specific table
to drill on. I don’t think there is a way except possibly by using
Report Script. This issue has been brought up with Business Objects
and they offered no solution…
One thing you can do to keep all of the other tables is to change
your default drill options. Change your default Drill Mode to
“Create New Report” (Select Tools/Options/Drill tab from main menu).
When you go into drill mode, it will create a separate report tab. The
original will be left as is. When you are done with the drill report, you
can then delete if you like and the original will be fine.
