System/technical requirements for BO environment

Hi Friends,

Can you please give me the software and hardware requirements for building a BO XIR2 environment.

Anything from a single desktop type machine up to many many many servers.

You will have to be more specific on the usage requirements if you want any sort of sensible answers :slight_smile:

Business Objects also provide a hardware sizing guide, which if you work through, should give you a fairly good picture of what you need. but again you need to start with things like, how many people, how often and what the uptime requirement is.
