This may sound counter-intuitive but I am investigating whether we can start and stop real time services in groups through a URL or through some sort of admin web service?
The requirement is that we have different sets of Real Time Services needed at different times of the day, but we don’t really have the RAM to have them all running all the time.
I think you can use Real Time Message Client for this, you will have to implement a java service or program and run that to start and stop service
check the integrator guide for more details, you will also have to install the Message client Component when doing DS install, I think by default it’s unselected during install
