Just curious if anyone’s using Single Sign On with Reporter 6.1b (or any 6.x release for that matter). If so, how did you do it? Is there a .dll available like 5.x?
Thanks,
DJ

You can use LDAP configuration tool.
You have to install LDAP configuration tool on your machine first.
There is a PDF document on tech support site which describes how to use this configuration tool. This is pretty easy to use.

There is a DLL version available, but it’s available as a hotfix. You’ll have to contact BO to get it.
There is a Hotfix 228 that might be the one you need.

Hummm,
reading all post about it, I try to well understand single-logon problem Vs Hotfix 228. (concerning full client reporter)
So, the single-logon mechanism is now repository based on we have to use the ldap config tool to choose to activate or not NT authentification but it affect all user and we have no longer possibility, like in v5 with dll modification, to allow it at user level.
If we want to “remove” a post from this centralised authentification, we have to patch the config with the hotfix 228.
=> But in this case, after the hotfix patch, I have no found the way to remove the nt authentification (i have discovered too that kgluidrv is no longer use, you can delete it but in NT authent, it KNTUI which is used and in BO authent, it’s KBOUI…
=> maybe this patch doens’t work in french release ?
Do you have experience of this patch ?
Thank you

Moved to General Discussion as this is not strictly a report creating problem.
