SQL-Viewer within WEBI-Reports doesn't work

Hello all together,
I have installed the following system:

System: Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Server (64 bit System)
Member of an AD - System (AD in 2008 Mode)

Installed BO XI R31 SP2 FP 2.5 with AD - Authentication and SSO enabled

I’ve migrated a complete BO XI R2 system with the Import-Wizzard.

Problem:
Using the so called “freeHand” SQL within new Webi-Reports and within migrated Webi-Reports is not possible.

I’ve made a simple Webi-Report 2 Dimension values, 1 Mesure value
And then I’ve try to open the sql-viewer.
The window is grey and I am not able to change anything.

Is this a security aligment?
How can I change these settings.

The administrator is not able to use the sql-view
I’ve try to make an access group with this rights. It doesn’t work.

How can I solve that problem?

Did you migrate security too, as this isn’t really recommended?
If so, your admins rights may have been “reversed”, as the security model is totally different in 3.0?
Check your top level rights, as this is probably where the issue lies…

Yes, indeed.
It was a client request, to migrate security.

And now ?
Have I to reconstruct the normal rights ?

But how ?
I am not so familiar with the access rights. After that action, I think I am able to manage access rights.

First Step:
Top Level Folder:
Indeed, the administration group has now access. I have assigned full access to the top level folder.

That does not solve the issue.
And now?

Please give me some hints, how to reconstruct the rights.

Ralph,

One of the main problems, you are facing, is that people do not generally migrate the rights, from XIr2, but, recreate them in 3.0 and above.
This is an application access right under Web intelligence, so you would need to allow this right to the Administrator.
Security XIr2 to 3.0 is quite a change and something that cannot easily be resolved over an internet forum, as for one, I don’t know how everything was set up in the first place.
This post will be very useful in understanding 3.0 security.

Cheers,

Mark.
