Is it possible to use column(s) from an Excel spreadsheet as an ‘InList’ parameter for the conditions of a query?

Yes (if you are on 6.5)

Create a report from Universe.
Create a report from Excel
Edit report created from Universe.
Drag the object to condition pane and select Inlist operator then select “Select Query Result”. Then it show all the data providers, select the Excel DP and select the Object.

Thanks for the response. We are on Ver 5.1.8 so am I out of luck until we go to 6.5?
