Some get it, some don't

Our group has just deleted the Doc Agent server at the root level just
because every subgroup should create and maintain their own Document Agent.
The only problem with this is that we are experiencing users outside the
scope of group’s Document Agent are not receiving any documents distributed
by that Doc Agent. Is it possible configure a Document Agent in a subgroup
to ‘send to users’ that are not part of the group, or should I recreate a
root level Doc Agent?

‘send to users’:
I really mean ‘Distribute via the repository’

This is not my understanding. If you are not under the group or sub-group,
where DAS is configured, you won’t be able to send documents to that DAS.
But DAS will be able to send documents to any user, even to those who are
not under it’s group. And that’s how it works here.

So you don’t have a DAS configured at the root level. Am I correct?
