In the BO migration manual xi3-1_migration_bobj56_en.pdf, regarding security setup, it is mentioned as:
When you combine the two models for functionality and content, each group
has two parents:
a functionality parent: that is, BO Report Developers, BO Universe
Designers, BO Power Users, BO Casual Users, or BO Consumers
a content parent, such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR.
For example, imagine that the Sales Report Developers a child of the BO Report Developers group also belongs to the Sales group itself. Similarly,
the Sales Universe Designers belong to both the BO Universe Designers
group, as well as the Sales group, and so forth, for all the profile groups.
In 6.1, we have 2 groups: Functionality (BO Analysts, BO Viewers etc.) and Subject (Sales, Purchasing etc.)
I have imported these two groups into XI 3.0 and trying to combine these 2 groups along with the users as mentioned in the manual.
But in confusion, how to combine these two and assign to the document folder and universe folder.
Can anyone please help me how to combine these two and the steps for this process.
