Hi every one…
i have a question :
if User1 is meber of Sales grb and member of Finance grb…this 2 grb have granted access to the hr folder.
inside hr folder there is sub folder … sales grb have schedule access to the sub folder and finance grb have denied access to sub folde.
the question is did that user1 have access to the sub folder? if yes which kind of access he have??

Explicitly denied rights override all other rights set at any heirarchy level. So the user would not have access to the sub folder.

It depends on what inheritance you disable… for the group or for the sub folder on the sub folder. If you can describe what exactly are you looking to achieve here, you get a faster solution.

With XI 3.x there is trumping of rights and that should even override explicitely denied.

As a follow-up, does anyone have a resource (document, presentation, webcast, etc.) that describes the “Trumping of Rights” feature in XI 3.0 and above in detail? If not, would someone please articulate its relevance?
