Hi all,

Can any one let me know How many types of Securites are there in BO?

If we have a universe which contain the data of all the countries (US, INDIA, CANADA, UK)

I have the user who wants the data of only CANADA who is present in CANADA. So how i need to restrict the user not to access the Data or universe of other countries.

As I have said before, there are more than one way to skin a cat. In another word, there are different ways to accomplish the goal. But in my humble opinion, the best way to handle data security is in the data mart where it belongs.

You can also look up row-level restrictions, either searching here or in the documentation.

Depending on your exact situation, it is also viable to create a separate universe for each country, and restrict the user to a specific universe. That’s not viable in most scenarios, but it is an option.
