If you use the Data Services Management Console, you can schedule your DI jobs to use the BOE scheduler. Once you created the schedule, you can use an number of options to monitor the result e.g. use Events in BOE to trigger report refreshes, etc… I suggest you look at the Data Services Technical Manuals.
Alternate aproach is to use the a universe on top of your DI repository so you can create Webi reports to monitor job status. Check this post with a universe available to for download.
