Schedule report if value above limit

Hi all,

whats the best way to start a scheduled report/publication once a certain measure exceeds a certain limit?

Can this be done with BOXI / 4.0 only or do I always need a ETL checking this measure and creating a file for the file event?

Hi Joe,

thanks for your indication.

Reading the threads I assume that I would always need an object that throws an error if my condition (count(*)>0, measure>x) is fulfilled, put that in the “trigger” report and so. That sounds straight forward.

But: what if you have an OLAP universe, BW e.g.? My recent experiences show that it is quite painful, sometimes impossible to create new objects in OLAP universes, especially if it goes beyond very simple standards.

Any remark on that?
