Is there a way of controlling the format when it’s save in Excel?

Yeah, use a product other than Business Objects…

When you make use of webi, try the save as csv when you make use of just tables…goes much more faster and easier to handle afterwards…
And idd…you better make us of another product instead of the save as excel, great new feature
