Hi All,

Is it possible to save multiple reports in 1 pdf file???

I assume you mean multiple .rep files? Or do you mean reports within a document (in which case the answer is yes - that is the default behaviour). If you mean multiple .rep files then the out of the box answer is no…I’m wondering about VBA/SDK etc but I’m pretty sure a VB developer told me it couldn’t be done Adobe don’t allow access to much of an object model.

Ok Nick,
My question was referring to multiple .rep . Anyway Is it possible to have multiple reports(.rep) in only 1 new report(.rep) as new tabs?

sorry I mean as different tabs

It’s not easy to merge multiple documents (*.rep files) into one. The process is as follows:
- copy the data provider (using a utility like this one)

 • Save the original report tab as a template
 • In the destination document, apply the template
 • Repeat for each tab
 • Cross your fingers, because more complex reports often don’t transfer cleanly
That’s great but is it possible to copy the data provider from different reports??

Did you check out the utility I referenced above? The answer is yes.

Great…
it is working fine … the only problem is it is not taking report level variables properly and hence disturbing the layout.
anyway that report is too complex and so facing problem

thanks for your help…
