Save as xls in 5.1.6 ?

Hi All,

I created a report in BO 5.1.6 full client,When I tried to save it from File—>Save as—> there is no xls format .
Please let me know ,how to save it as xls format with out exporting from data manager

Save as XLS is available only from BO version 6. There is not such thing in lower BO versions.

All what you can do in your BO version is to export data of each dataprovider into XLS via Data Manager.

We teach our users the copy-and-paste method to get the formatted report into Excel that’s documented in this Reporter FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
