Same user in different groups

I think you’re asking whether you can have multiple userid with the same name, just based in different groups. The answer is no to that question. A userid is the same userid, no matter which group(s) it is in.

You can put one user in multiple groups.

Here is an entry from the Supervisor FAQ that summarizes how BusinessObjects grants rights when a user is in multiple groups.
