Hello !
Have a query related to the number of digits that a number in a column in a report can have. The data in which the summation of numbers land up to
16
digits. In this scenario the sum is getting rounded off to lesser number of
digits.
How do we handle this problem when the currency value showing more than 16
digits (Like Italian Lira). This scenario could be in typical banking application if we want get the total sum of amount accumulated to savings
account in a day/week/month etc.
After getting the sum I may use this for numerical calculations(I.e I may put numerical formula on this).
Possible solution what I have already thought and it won’t work… Change the object type in designer to character . The consequence is that you won’t be able to perform numeric operation, aggregations
P.S. The chances are that if refers to an ID number or a field that does not
require operations on it.
