RFC streaming

we started using RFC transport method and directly using table in a normal DF. Here is the error after 10 mins.

Error calling RFC function to get table data: <RFC_ABAP_RUNTIME_FAILURE-(Exception_Key: TIME_OUT)- Time limit exceeded.>.

I talked to basis team and understand that RFC time limit has been set to 10 mins. I tried executing it with option run in background=YES. Still no luck.

1. is there anyway to eliminate this error, apart from increasing the timelimit.
2. how to extract cluster tables like BSEG using RFC transport method.
3. I believe we get the same error even if we use R/3 DF ?

RFC read table vs RFC streaming

Hi I am using DS 4.1 and in a Dataflow i am directly dragging SAP table. would like to make sure that RFC streaming (in BODS 4.1) is enabled and NOT rfc read table is invoked. How can i check this ? learndi_2011 (BOB member since 2011-03-03)
