Repository Data Extraction Question

Hi. I am trying to get out of the repository all objects that a universe has - is every object in a universe stored in the UNV_OBJECT table? Also, is there any way to get what objects are used in a document out of the repository?

If you have access to the version 5 bo cd it has a Freeware directory on it which includes a universe called managero. This sits over the repos and might make your job easier!

Yes.

No.

How’s that for nice, succinct answers.

For starters try the BOB’s Download section:

Repository Structure: ManagerO universe / Repository documentation

Objects used in documents: List Objects Used in a set of Documents

I know of the managero universe, but haven’t looked at it. I dont’ want to use that, I’d like to answer the question on what object is in waht document, and what objects we have total, without going to their pre-supplied universe. is this information available in managero? If so, how does business objects extract the data?

thanks,

Andy
