I created a universe, with 12 tables, 1 alias, there is also one view, but when i create a report out of this, its taking long time to fetch the data, so could you please advice me on this,

Can you give us some more detail on your BO configuration (DBMS, BO version, etc…)?

Can you please tell me how many records are there in those tables or many records are showing on the report finally…
Are you applying many report level conditions or variables or filters,breaks,alters on report…If that is the case and if your report is pulling lots of data…then it takes much time to show on report as calculations need to be done on report level…Try to apply conditions in such a way that report pulls only required data…
Also depends upon your network speed,Array Fetch Size…
