Report refresh problam

Hi,
i am using BOXIR2 deski. i have created report with some prompts.

when i refresh the report its take some time to execute the sql and display the data in report.
Again i have refreshed the same report i am given the prompt vales then clicked OK button then the query starts running at the time i have cancel the SQL its return to report its showing as blank report(means No data because the sql are canceled)

my problem is when i refresh the report if i canceled the query(while running the query) then i want to display the OLD data(means last refreshed data).

Pls help me how to solve this problem.

Check Dwayne’s idea on showing up the last refreshed data. But I’m not sure whether you can associate this idea to Canceling query.

BOXI R3 would give you “track” without show changes and I think with this option it would not purge the data before refresh and even cancelling the query mean you have something in the background. Am I making a wild guess?? :?:

With no “Track”, BO would Purge and then start filling in, thus cancelling the query should only leave the template behind, with no data.
