In BO 3.1, there was a MANAGER0 universe which came with the software that has
detail user information.
Does anyone know of such a universe in 4.1? The MANAGER0 came with 4.1 only has
class/object/table info.
I understand the user password in 4.1 is encrypted, therefore would not be
available for reporting, but I would like to run query on the user’s group,
accessibility to documents, type (user, designer…), etc.
I talked to the BO Tech Support, and they only point me to the ACTOR tables,
which require a fair amount of work to join them together in order to make
sense. Has anyone build such a MANAGER universe?
If you don’t use Oracle you are on your own as far as a Manager’s universe. Several “listers” have built their own universes based on the database they are using. I have built something for DB2. There is some documentation for the repository tables on the Business Objects web site which is a starting point for the relationships between tables and what information is available on each table.
Good luck.

There is reporting capabilities in the Supervisor module. You can get the info you are requesting by opening the supervisor module, then selecting the print option. from there you can get some generic type reports that show groups etc. laurenf@bellatlantic.net
