Report Format Tips for better Excel export

Hello Folks,

I had seen an article on BOB on some tips on report formatting so the report is rendered almost perfect in XL when exported to excel ( no big columns, no wrap text, no text cutting off ect).

Can you please post the link to the document if you have?

This is really urgent.

Thanks in advance

Yes there is
when you get into this forum there is a FAQ POST
if you go to

If you open google page
and write “businessobjects” “excel”

http://www.google.it/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-26,GGLD:en&q="businessobjects%
22++excel%22

the searchengine page gives you back

but maybe you also wanted to refer to this one

Thanks Rob.
Even in Excel 2000 we loose formatting ( if we have a one big title cell in row one, then the table below will have its column as big as my title cell, which I dont want).
There was a presentation or article on the tips for clean BO to Excel export ( no format loss)
I am looking for formatting tips developer can follow during report development.

Thanks
