BusinessObjects Board

Report crashes while trying to refresh in 5.15, fine in 5.10

Hi All,
We are trying to upgrade from 5.10 to 5.15 and even though most of the reports are working fine we have two reports which are causing problems.
The report opens fine but when we try to refresh the data the Business Objects application crashes. Following is the log file that Business Object generates. The same report refreshes fine in the 5.1.0 version.
We have a combination of Universe data providers and a free hand SQL data provider. We tried refreshing individual data providers in the report and they all work fine but refreshing the whole report crashes BO. Both the reports that crash have a similar combination of data providers.

Unlucky. The old exception error is bad enough, but in a report it tends to be at its worst. Just have a look here Unhandled Exception Error C0000005 - how to fix it!

in case any of this helps - although they were mostly not about report level problems. You might like to try putting the report in structure mode before it is refreshed.
