we need to compare the two different version of DESKI reports, if there is any difference that will be higlighted in excel sheet. ( both reports are local .rep files).
How to explore the reports components (objects, variables , formulas ,etc ) to excel.

Just an idea. What about the ‘Track changes’ option in Excel?

Take a look at the NOAD Report Tester(http://www.noadbi.com/en/report-testing). It seems to do exactly what you want.
