I don’t think it’s possible, other than using the object models … especially in the XI environment. There really is no choice but to open each document / universe individually.
I’m not sure if you’ve found these utilities here on BOB yet, but you may find them useful. They don’t load the results back to a database for reporting, but may give you some ideas on what’s possible.
