Relative Path

I am setting up a BOI to run on a network drive from a personal data file. I don’t want to have to make every person who uses the report map that drive to a particular letter. Is there a way to have the file name hold a relative path? I’ve tried a couple of things (with no success) and was hoping that maybe I’m just missing something…

Lisa,

You should be able to use the drive’s UNC name. For example, instead of
P:\CorpData\test.txt

you could use
\FServer-SJ01\CorpData\test.txt
