All,
We are trying to do some performance testing to see how long a query will take from end to end. We are trying to break out the parts of the report. I know that once you biuld the report and click the “run” button, several things happen.
1)I know BO will have to do some processing and pass the SQL to the database,
2) then the database will have to do some processing of data,
3) then the data is sent back to BO and
4) then the report is displayed.
Is there a way to break down all of these seperate parts? I’ve tried to apply tracing to a few servers, but it’s hard to understand the trace logs.
