If this is still an open issue, you may want to check if her applet is damaged / reload it…
In windows explorer, find her applet, check the properties, and if damaged, you can either update it (again from a right click) or delete and reload…
I also found that reloading the microsoft / java vm helps in applet problems… from control panel, add / remove programs, pick internet explorer and add components… you can pick the microsoft vm and reload just that part… this has fixed a variety of odd problems.

Hi Mike
Regarding your Problem
I have the following inputs which might be useful
If the report is generated by some one else , then it needs to be saved with
‘save for all users’ option
which might allow your user at the remote site to run the report.
The reason you might be able to run the report is that you might be having
the privileges like supervisor, designer which might allow you to run the
report.
Thanks and Regards

Interesting situation happened to a remote user of mine.
She has a report that already contained conditions and result
objects.
She tried to add an additional condition and when she did the
VIEW and
RUN buttons grayed out.
I checked the universe because I could recreate this problem
and it
dealt with the LOV not being exported with the universe. So I
checked
the export LOV with universe and refresh LOV options and
exported the
universe.
Now it works fine on my machine (even when using the user own
id), but
it still does not work on her machine. I made sure she
re-imported
the universe.
Any thoughts, I am stumped.
Thanks
