How can we put an universe object variable value as a default value in prompt.
I want to put in date prompt the current month year as default value.

Hi,
Look I am providing user a string option to enter mm/yyyy and then concatanating this with 01 to convaert it into date.
I just giving user option to enter month/Year to see report of that particular month.
Now I want to set default value as current month/Year in that prompt.
so if user run report this month he should able to see default value in that prompt as 11/2010.

A default value has to be a constant. That’s what is in the FAQ entry I linked earlier.

You would have to write custom code via the SDK.
