i have an 3 prompts one is year and month and day
can u please explain nested prompts
how to use 3 prompts i have combain the prompts…
year 2007:nov and dec (it fetch the month in db level)
month nov and dec ( days)
plz any one explaint how to use nested prompts( i have 3 prompts)

Go to Tools > Lists of Values > Create Cascading Lists of values
Choose from the highest level of hierarchy to the lowest one. Say, Choose Year first, then Month and so on…
When you prompt for the lowest level of hierarchy (Say Day) in your report query, it will automatically display the higher levels as a tree structure.
