Prompt defaults and empty query results

Hi all,
I am a webi developer that has inherited some old Deski reports. Deski and Webi are sort of alike, but not exactly. So, I am having some trouble trying to do some things in Deski.

Here is what I am trying to do.
I have a prompt in my deski. When I develop the query and save it, it saves the last queried item in the prompt when I open it each time. So, I have to remove the information from the prompt before I putting in the new information. Is there a way to make it so the deski prompt does not keep the last value each time you run it? How do I do it?

Next question.
My report has 4 queries in it. Sometimes 2 or 3 of those queries return no data. This is appropriate. When the report runs and completes, I get 2 or 3 message boxes saying that the query had no results. Is there a way to turn off those message boxes? How do I do it?

Any help would be appreciated?

  1. You have to purge the data providers before you export the report to the repository from keeping the filled in prompt values.
