What is the mechanism by which “Projection Aggregation” & “Delegated Measures” works at Universe or Report level. I got some info but its not written in simple terminologies.

Database delegated means, that projection is instead delegated to the database and the measure is re-calculated using the SQL aggregate function at the database level, whenever a projection normally would occur in a report.
A projection for a measure occurs in a report, whenever the measure is not displayed with all Dimension and Detail objects (now called: attributes) from the underlying data provider (now called; query).
