Problem in Saving Changes made to Preference Button

Hi,

I have few users in a particular group, when any user of say Group A logged in & try to change anything in preferences button, below error is displayed-
An error has occurred: Sorry, you do not have the right to ‘Edit objects’ (ID: 6) for ‘SUN’ (ID: 513514). Please contact your administrator if you require this right.
Could someone please help me in giving rights to preferences button to these users?

Thanks Arjun for your response. And Yes I did check that, but I didn’t get it fully… means how to interpret the excel file. So thought to ask.

Kindly let me know if you know steps…

Its an application Right under Infoview, “Change User Preferences”. You can make this option invisible for groups you don’t want to access it also.

Thanks Mak… I already tried that , but still no use. I changed in general - Allow users to Edit this object & also I changed the right for Change user preferences.

Administrator can change his preferences but a particular group which I created is not able to change the setting, that’s why I am confused & after troubleshooting , I thought now I need some helping hands.

It must be denied further up the tree, maybe, on the everyone group?

Yup, for everyone it is showing No Access… so should I give View on Demand or anything else needs to be changed…?
