Printing Problem

I am using Oracle 7.1, sqlnet 2.2 and business objects 4.1.2, docagent server with csp14. There is one report that users send to DAS with the print option. This report has 2 report tabs and are both landscape. Problem is, when printed, the first report prints landscape and the second prints portrait. If I open that same report and print from any other machine, even the DAS, it prints both landscape. Has anyone else run across this?

I have experienced similar problems. Each of our BO reports consists of = 2 tabs (landscape) and runs via the DAS. After some initial tests, it = seems that successful printing depends on the state of the report upon = DAS export. When I send the report to DAS while the 2nd tab is selected, = both tabs print in landscape, but when I send the report while the 1st = tab is selected, then the first tab prints in landscape and the second = in portrait. Very strange, definitely not anything intuitive about this. = I’d like to solve the problem before bringing these reports into = production, to save our clients from the annoyance. Anything? Anne D. Julie,

Try submitting this job to DAS with the LAST tab selected. This should ensure that ALL pages and their displays have to be recalculated to display.
It seemed to have worked for my issues.

Thanks!

Hello,

I have a version 4.1.4 report with 9 tabs. Tabs 1-4 do not print while the other tabs print without any problem. For tabs 1-4, when the report tab is selected and the “Printer” toolbar button clicked, an error message appears after about a minute:

Could not start print job

Has anyone encountered similar problems?

Thanks in advance.
